Our Italian cooking workshop are like all our cooking workshops tailored according to your wishes and needs. As an Italian menu is set up, there is first one or several antipasti that are made, such as various bruschetta and vitello tonnato. Then comes the primo of what is usually a pasta or risotto. As a main course, the secondo, a nice piece of fish or meat is cooked in the pan or roasted in the oven, served with various vegetables. The dolci, dessert then follows as the last course, and for example, tiramisu, zabaglione or semi freddo with fresh fruit. Learn about various dishes of Italian cuisine, and of course make your own pasta! This Italian cooking class is not just for beginners but also for more advanced cooking enthusiasts. Italian cuisine is very broad, but also very refined. Making your own pasta and filling, with of course a perfect sauce! We start the evening, of course, with various antipasti, all self made. In addition, we discuss the fine art of making risotto, using recipes from our favorite book Tutto Risotto by Florine Boucher. Our Italian cooking class includes many facets, but also of course the basics of Italian cuisine. Every region in Italy has its own dishes and products tof which many are registered and protected by region. Products such as Parma ham and Parmasan cheese may only come from the Parma area. Italy has the most local D.O. registered and protected products in the world. The whole movement is in the 80 begun by the Slow Food movement, which arose as a counter movement of the fast food.
