Company drinks are known to strengthen team spirit. This is due to the informal atmosphere, where colleagues feel more comfortable talking to each other. Activities like drinks allow colleagues to get to know each other in a different way. During drinks, colleagues can share experiences, both on work-related topics and personal interests and hobbies. This exchange of experiences can lead to a better understanding of each other's perspectives, creating a stronger sense of solidarity within the team. Drinks ensure that colleagues interact with each other on a more equal footing. Any hierarchical boundaries are blurred, creating a bond in a setting different from the workplace.
