ITALIAN COOKING WORKSHOP
Learn how to make the most delicious pasta during our Italian cooking workshop!
The Italian cooking workshop, like all our workshops, is customized to your needs. During the workshop, we adhere to the traditional Italian menu structure. First, one or more antipasti are prepared, such as various bruschettas or vitello tonnato. This is followed by the primo, usually a pasta or risotto. The main course, the secondo, consists of a beautiful piece of fish or meat cooked in a pan or oven, served with a variety of vegetables. The dolci, the dessert, follows as the final course and can be, for example, tiramisu, semifreddo, or sabayon with fresh fruit.
In this Italian cooking workshop, you'll also learn about cooking techniques, cutting techniques, tips, and the ingredients used. Discover new flavors and recipes from various Italian regions. We'll work with you to create a delicious menu tailored to your preferences, taking special diets and potential allergies into account. Anything is possible! For more information, please call or email us directly, or use the contact form.
During these Italian cooking workshops, you'll learn about various regional dishes from the Italian kitchen, and of course, how to make your own pasta! This Italian cooking workshop is not only for beginners but also for more advanced cooks. Italian cuisine is both diverse and refined. You'll make and fill your own pasta, with a perfect sauce, of course! You'll also make various antipasti. We'll also cover the delicate technique for making risotto, from the acclaimed risotto book, Tutto Risotto by Florine Boucher.
Our Italian cooking workshops cover many facets and, of course, the basics of Italian cuisine. Each region in Italy has its own dishes and products, which are often registered and protected by region. Products like Parma ham and Parmesan cheese may only come from the Parma region. Italy has the largest number of registered regional products in the world. The entire movement was launched in the 80s by the Slow Food movement, which emerged as a counter-movement to fast food.
